Ericsson Family Hotel in central Jönköping

About the area

We have a fantastic location with a maximum of 5 minutes’ walk to both the bus and train station.
Only 2 blocks away you can find the cinema which shows all the latest premiers.

Just across the street there is the unique Matchmaking Museum, an important and interesting part of Sweden’s history. We were once world leaders in match exports.

There are several unique restaurants in our vicinity. You can find seafood and fish at Pescadores. Tegel has delicious food from the surrounding area and Mäster Gudmunds Källare has served classic food since 1930 under charming cellar vaults. All of this within a 2-minute walk.

The sports center is a 5-minute walk. Housing 5 pitches under the same roof makes this hall one of Sweden’s most used sports halls. It hosts major tournaments in both handball and innebandy as well as a large bowling alley.

With buses only 137 meters from the hotel you can reach everything within Jönköping in a short period of time. The Elmia concert, conventions and exhibition halls take only 13-15 minutes on a comfortable bus.

Why do guests love our hotel?

We have billards in the lobby and a table tennis table in our activity room. Why not challenge the kids to a game?
Our spa complete with saunas and hot tub is probably our most popular features. This is available to all our guests, simply ask at reception for opening hours.

The kids corner in the lobby is strategically positioned so that Mum and Dad can grab a drink at the bar while the children draw, play with the stuffed toys or solve our puzzle collection.

Along Västra Storgatan there is a cool modern playground in the middle of town. It’s lovely to drop in on the way to town to do some shopping. During summer our sandy beach is probably one of the most popular seaside resorts.  Our fantastic location right by the shore of lake Vättern leaves plenty of opportunity for swimming and sunbathing.

Jönköping has a great water park – Rosenlundsbadet, which is well worth a visit. You may also enjoy Leos Lekland (playland), which is close by and can easily keep the kids entertained for a day. Last but not least, pay a visit to our neighbouring town Gränna, world famous for the production of polkagris (the original candy cane). You can watch the masters make it or even have a go at making your own with your choice of flavours.
